Cookies
This site asks before it measures. Until you accept, our own tags store nothing on your device, and the site works the same if you say no.
While the answer is no, our Google tags run in a limited mode: they tell Google that a page was opened, with no cookie and nothing that ties one visit to the next.

With advertising switched on, Google can also use its own cookies, on doubleclick.net, to show you our ads on other sites.
Changing your mind
You can change your answer whenever you like. Switch something off and the cookies it had set on this site are deleted there and then.

Booking, films and maps
Tickets are sold in a window from Bókun, the booking service the house sells through. It is fetched from Bókun on the pages that have a button to book a room, and inside it run Bókun’s own application and Stripe, which takes the payment, each under its own terms. To hold your basket while you book, Bókun keeps a session number in your browser’s storage on this site, and if you arrived from one of our Google ads it keeps the number of that click beside it.
The films on the page about Fado come from YouTube. Nothing is asked of YouTube until you press play. From then on the film is served by youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, under YouTube’s own terms.
The maps on the page of each room come from Google Maps, under Google’s own terms. Nothing is asked of Google until you are near the map on the page.
