Fado for your event, in our rooms or on a stage you choose.
Your guests can hear Fado in one of our rooms, in Lisbon or in Funchal, or we bring the singers and the guitars to wherever your event is, from a private dinner to a festival stage.
A concert for your guests only
We play the concert for your group alone. It works for company gatherings, cultural programmes, travel groups and private celebrations.
It lasts about fifty minutes. Before each song the musicians tell your guests what it’s about, and they talk about where Fado comes from, so guests who have never heard Fado can follow it too.
In our rooms, each guest has a glass of Port or Moscatel in Lisbon, or of Madeira wine in Funchal.
Fado at festivals and on cultural programmes
We also play on your stage, with Fado singers, a Portuguese guitar and a classical guitar. The songs can be introduced in Portuguese and in English, so the audience can follow what each song is about.
For a festival, an auditorium, a theatre or a cultural programme, we agree with you who plays, for how long and what the stage needs.
Fado at your event
We play at international meetings, company celebrations, receptions and evenings in hotels.
It can be a full concert, or shorter sets at the moments of the evening you choose. We work out the format with you.
Tell us about your event
Send us the date, the place and roughly how many guests, and tell us whether you’d like one of our rooms or would rather we came to you. We’ll reply with a proposal: who plays, for how long, and what we need on the day.
